Half covered
Close it around a deep chest and it stops halfway down a long spine.
Gaping open
Sized for the chest, it hangs loose at the tucked waist and lets the rain in underneath.
Rubbed raw
Straps placed for a Labrador sit right where a short-legged dog's elbows move.
The Squall
A waterproof, breathable shell drafted from Dachshund measurements. It runs the full spine, wraps the belly and stays off the elbows.

Before you measure
Why only Dachshunds?
Fitting one breed properly takes a full pattern of its own. French Bulldog and sighthound cuts come next, drafted the same way.
My dog is between sizes.
Every size adjusts at the chest, waist and neck, so most dogs near the edge of a size still fit it well. If the fit finder says a standard size will gap or pull, we cut one to your three measurements, for a small tailoring charge.
What if my dog gains or loses a little weight?
The chest closure adjusts about 2" either way, and the waist strap and collar adjust too. That covers a little seasonal weight change, and the small differences you get when measuring at home.
When does it ship?
We're aiming to open orders to founding members in early 2027 and ship in spring. We'll confirm the shipping date before you order, and you're never charged for joining the list.
What if it doesn't fit?
Send a photo and your measurements. We'll exchange it or re-cut it to measure.
Will I pay customs fees?
No. Duties will be included in the price for orders shipped to the United States.
What are the founding member terms?
